Philosophy and Management.
Aristotle and change: resisting and knowing how to choose in uncertain times

This Ambrosetti LIVE webinar is part of a series dedicated to the search for links between the corporate world and the thought of the great philosophers. Each event will deal with a very topical issue for company leaders, starting from the ideas and reflections of the philosophers of the past, a world far from the managerial one but closer than you imagine.

In this first webinar, the relationship between uncertainty and decisions will be addressed, relying, in particular, on the thought of Aristotle. Starting from his ideas and those of other great thinkers, we will reflect on how we can face an increasingly uncertain world without simple answers, in which, however, we are constantly forced to take a stand, making even very difficult choices.

How should one face uncertainty and complexity? Is it necessary to reduce the demands and be content, or remain firm on their intentions and fight to achieve them?

The answer to these questions cannot be separated from the question of who we are and what matters to us. Questions that philosophers have always tried to answer.
The discussion with Mauro Bonazzi, Professor of Philosophy and author, will help us to reflect on these points and on how philosophy can help to consciously face the present and its uncertainties.
