The exhibition of Donatello and the Renaissance, which opened recently, is a unique opportunity to learn about the extraordinary journey of one of the most important and influential artists of Italian art of all time. A celebration of the Florentine artist who started the extraordinary season of the Renaissance, proposing new ideas and figurative solutions that have forever marked the history of Western art. The exhibition focuses on the artist in space and time, in materials and techniques, comparing it with masterpieces by artists such as Brunelleschi, Raffaello and Michelangelo. The guided tour will be preceded by a meeting with the curator who will give an introduction with interesting anecdotes and curiosities about Donatello, also explaining the why and the objective of this exhibition.
