Inflation, PNRR funds, reforms. There are many open issues that make the future of the Italian economy uncertain. In the short term, we wonder about the trends linked to the shocks of recent months, but, in perspective, it is also necessary to reflect on the merits and "substantial" defects of the Italian economy that direct its long-term future. Only in this way can companies move with more awareness in the coming months and years.

Will inflation continue to rise? Will we be able to use PNRR? And what reforms would be needed to overcome the deadly sins of our economic model?

In this meeting, participants will have the opportunity to discuss these questions with Andrea Boitani, Economist and professor of the Catholic University of Milan. It will be an opportunity to reflect and discuss the Italian economy, from the short to the long term, but also to understand how to deal with uncertainty when even the most authoritative voices are continually denied by the unpredictability of events. In particular, it will deepen: 

• from inflation to PNRR: what to expect from the economy in the coming months 
• the vices of the country system: from (not)meritocracy to increasing inequality 
• the illusion of predictions: the difficulty (even of the Great Ones) in making predictions an increasingly uncertain time.
