With the outbreak of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, world scenarios have changed once again and it remains difficult to see the emergence of a new global order in the political, economic and diplomatic relations between the major powers involved. While the green transition remains at the heart of Europe's domestic agenda and the war in Ukraine the most pressing security issue in Europe, for the United States the priority is still to maintain its status as a world hegemon without being directly involved in the conflicts it seeks to influence. And as Russia attempts to push Ukraine to surrender, China seeks to establish itself as an alternative reference to the Western order.
 
What political and economic scenarios lie ahead in 2024? What prospects for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? What about the one in Ukraine? And how will Italy fit into the global geopolitical context?
