The World Press Photo Award for more than 60 years represents one of the most important awards in the field of photojournalism, rewarding the most capable shots to tell and transmit the contemporary world.
 
In this meeting, participants will have the opportunity to visit the exhibition dedicated to the 2023 edition, in one of the few Italian dates scheduled in the world tour. The exhibition is an opportunity to retrace, through the shots of the best contemporary photojournalists, the events that have marked this past year, between tragic moments linked to the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, to other less known realities. The documentary vein of the exhibition will be a stimulus for reflection for participants, allowing them to open their eyes to more and less known realities. The story in images, sometimes crude but always suggestive, will be hosted in the noble seventeenth-century Palazzo Barolo. During the guided tour, those present will travel around the world, reliving with their own eyes the stories portrayed by the most prestigious contemporary photographers.
