In a period of continuous upheavals, where the post-pandemic situation and the Russian invasion of Ukraine have been joined by the conflict between Israel and Palestine, it is necessary to reflect about the inevitable repercussions that such events have had and will have on the Italian economy and the globalized context in which it operates.

What are the prospects for the Italian and global economy? What repercussions on the Italian exports? What possible solutions to ward off the haunting specter of a new crisis?

The purpose of this meeting is to offer the participants an opportunity to reflect on the future of the Italian and the European economy, analyzing the inevitable repercussions that one has on the other and trying to hypothesize possible remedies to break free from the negative spiral. To assess the current situation, participants will have the opportunity to engage with three world-renowned economists: Marco Magnani, Daniel Gros, and Corrado Passera. In particular, the following themes will be explored:

• the Great Unraveling: what is happening to the globalized world that we took for granted?
• the major challenges that Europe is currently facing: the overall resilience of the system and the risks looming over it
• the state of health of the Italian economic system.
