The Land of the Rising Sun is not only the world's third-largest economy in terms of GDP and a major manufacturing and financial market, but it has also become a global benchmark for cutting-edge technology, driven by robotics, electronics, and the automotive sector.
Despite its aging population, Japan remains one of the leading countries for patents and researchers, ranking in the top three worldwide. Additionally, Japan is rapidly advancing towards Society 5.0, adding a fifth stage to the four main stages of human development: this upcoming ultra-smart society will see the integration of IoT technology, connecting and streamlining all technologies for a better quality of life.
What are the frontiers of innovation in Japan? What makes its cities and services so efficient? What are the defining characteristics of this dedicated culture?
These are just some of the questions that will be explored during the business tour to the Land of the Rising Sun.
Innovation and efficiency but also culture and tradition, a full immersion in the beating heart of Japan, a country that is strongly future-oriented but at the same time very attached to its cultural traditions.
The seven-day Business Tour will consist of company visits and meetings with Experts and Business Executives from Japan's leading innovative players . A diverse mix of cutting-edge topics will allow for a tangible enriching experience and foster an opportunity to discuss the present but more importantly the future with numerous Japanese interlocutors: a unique opportunity to grasp the key factors of their success, and bring home numerous insights and stimuli useful both personally and professionally.
Not only does this initiative offer a chance to engage with the Japanese ecosystem, but it also presents an important business networking opportunity among peers. Over the course of seven days, 20 top and senior managers will come together to explore Japan, fostering strong interpersonal and business relationships. Networking events with institutional representatives and local business leaders are also scheduled.
Participation in the initiative is subject to submission of the application form. For more information: tel.+39 02 46753.628; Email: viaggi.strategici@ambrosetti.eu
