Next, the political and economic priorities of the new European Commission will be discussed, with particular attention to military defence, the conflict in Russia, the green transition, and the interest rate trends that the ECB will decide on.
Finally, the challenges for the Italian government, both geopolitical and economic, will be addressed, including the approval of the budget law at the end of the year, spending for the PNRR, and the implementation of the new stability pact for 2025.
