The ambitious goals of the energy transition decided at the European level are proving to be very difficult to reconcile with economic growth, putting our production system to a tough test, with significant impacts on the Northeast. However, the constraints of sustainability and the energy transition are something from which we cannot and must not turn back.
 
Sustainability, if understood as the beacon of a new socioeconomic model, can become a driving force for the European economy and, consequently, for the Italian economy. It is a challenging task, but one that must be fully undertaken, together, by institutions, banks, and businesses.
