AGGIORNAMENTO PERMANENTE

Ethical AI, legitimate AI: the impact of AI on people's work in companies (and on their performance)

Sede da definire GENOVA

AI is no longer an option but a necessity for almost all companies, so we also need to think about how to balance utility, compliance with regulatory constraints, and ethicality in its use.

What will be allowed to be done with AI and what will companies have to do to meet these legal constraints? And what, further, ethical reflections are needed? And again: how do workers feel about the inclusion of AI in the company? And how to ensure that the tool does not take over human qualities?

Companies must begin to answer these questions and, this meeting, will provide an opportunity for participants to discuss and reflect on them.
In particular, participants will:

  • get better oriented in the current and future regulatory environment of the AI Act and the Digital Service Act, which define “legitimate” AI according to the European Union and which will become a reality for all businesses
  • discuss the impact AI will have on the workplace at the “operational” level, for companies of various sizes, to reflect on the challenges it will pose in terms of upskilling and retention
  • deal with the broader, transformative role that AI may have on society in the medium future, to gain a forward-looking view.
