AGGIORNAMENTO PERMANENTE
IN PERSON
Conducting an orchestra, leading a company: leadership insights for Executives (with networking cocktail)

Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Piazzale Vittorio Gui, 1 - 50144 FIRENZE

In this meeting, participants will have the opportunity to explore the many parallels between an orchestra and a company, discovering how the art of conducting can offer valuable insights and winning strategies in the business world.

In the first part of the session, the focus will be on how a leader can harmonize and enhance their team's efforts, drawing connections between the role of an orchestra conductor and that of a business leader: both tasked with coordinating, inspiring, and guiding diverse talents, transforming individual excellence into a cohesive, high-performing ensemble driven by a shared vision.
In the second part, participants will analyze different orchestra conductors, each with their own unique approach, to gain a deeper understanding of various leadership styles, highlighting their strengths, implications, and potential challenges.

By the end of the session, participants will take away:

  • leadership strategies to foster more effective teamwork within their organizations, inspired by the dynamics of an orchestra—balancing individuality, harmonizing collective efforts, and the importance of active listening and perception
  • key lessons from an orchestra conductor to become even more effective leaders, exploring different leadership styles, their impact, and the potential risks associated with each approach.

Throughout the session, Director Agiman will be accompanied by the string quartet of I Musici di Parma.
