Gucci Artlab is a centre of industrial craftsmanship and a leading laboratory in the creation of leather goods and footwear, inaugurated in 2018 by Gucci at its historic headquarters in Florence. The laboratory has an area of 37000 square meters and employs over 900 employees. The goal of Gucci Artlab is to bring together the activities related to leather goods and footwear to optimize the sharing of skills and best practices in the sector, through research, development and innovation, without forgetting the strong artisanal tradition of Gucci.
We will begin our day by meeting with Gucci Artlab managers, who will present the challenges and results following the creation of a site like the Gucci Artlab. The will talk about how the latter has made it possible to innovate and develop quality products capable of representing the culture, creativity and value of a brand of excellence. The meeting will be followed by a guided tour of the laboratories of Gucci Artlab and Gucci9, the new global client services created to bring the customer even closer to the heart of the brand.
