Connecting the world to the stories that matter: for more than 60 years the World Press Photo award has been one of the most important awards in the field of photojournalism, rewarding the best shots and helping to build the history of the best visual journalism in the world.
 
This is a unique opportunity to visit the exhibition of the winners of the 2021 edition, hosted at the Slaughterhouse in Rome, with the expert guide of its curator, Francesco Zizola, well-known photojournalist and winner of one of the past editions, who will share curiosities and anecdotes about the photos, offering a moment of inspiration and reflection for the participants.
The exhibition is the result of the work of an independent jury, called to express its opinion on over 74,000 requests sent by 4,315 photojournalists from 130 countries. After a careful selection, the works of 45 photographers were awarded in eight categories which are the heart of the exhibition.
