Leading in turbulent environments: rethinking strategy with the example of Formula 1

Palazzo Montemartini Largo Giovanni Montemartini, 20 - 00185 ROMA

This meeting offers participants strategic insights based on the iconic world of Formula 1 to unveil and understand the competitive dynamics of other sectors, while also providing tools and frameworks to tackle today's and future business challenges.

As a turbulent and highly competitive market, Formula 1 provides the ideal context for inspiration: every minor change can determine success or failure, and performance is unequivocally measurable. Such conditions, along with relevant business cases and their associated "lessons learned," assist executives in rethinking strategy, particularly regarding innovation, focusing their actions, and becoming more analytical and performance-driven.

In particular, participants will delve into:

  • success and failure cases from Formula 1 (and beyond) to rethink strategy, including Ferrari, Red Bull, Dallara, Pixar
  • when innovation is not beneficial
  • timing and Execution to establish winning strategies
  • digital as a tool and not a goal of strategy.
